CADPy: a python wrapper for the semiconductor device simulation toolkit

Description

As technology scales down to advanced nodes, circuits achieve higher performance but encounter increased reliability challenges. As a result, semiconductor simulation tools are essential for efficient tests. However, these tools often require programming knowledge in multiple languages, which can be challenging for new users to master.

This project aims to develop a Python wrapper to enhance the usability and accessibility of an existing semiconductor simulation tool. The ultimate objective is to prepare the framework for future automated code generation using Large Language Models (LLMs). Through this project, students will gain valuable hands-on experience running semiconductor device simulations.
