    Job description:

This project investigates hardware security challenges and opportunities using emerging technologies and computing paradigms, such as emerging non-volatile memories, near threshold computing, and so on. The field of hardware security has been gaining lots of attention and securing the hardware subsystem, through the entire life cycle, including design, verification, manufacturing, test, and in-field operation, is of decisive importance. The issue is further complicated by the introduction of emerging technologies and paradigms which are integrated in the System on Chip (SoC). The goal of this research project is to investigate hardware security challenges and opportunities arising from the use and integration of emerging technologies and paradigms in the hardware design cycle. This PhD research will be done in collaboration with an international team all around Europe.

The possibility to pursue a Doctorate (PhD) degree exists.
